Clearing your cache and cookies

Caches and cookies are like notes your web browser stores when you visit websites so your browser can remember it the next time you visit those websites again.

Why would you want to clear your cache and cookies?

Your browser tends to save these files. Even if they are relatively small in size, they will accumulate over time. It could cause performance and privacy issues on your browser. This can even result in issues when logging in, playing certain content and training bookmarking.

Google Chrome:

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click the menu button ⋮ > Privacy and Security > Clear Browsing Data.
  3. On the Clear browsing data window, select which time range you want to clear.
  4. Put a check beside Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, and then click Clear data.

Microsoft Edge:

  1. Open Edge.
  2. Click the menu button ⋮ > Privacy, Search and Services > Clear Browsing Data.
  3. Click "Choose what to clear":
  4. On the Clear browsing data window, select which time range you want to clear.
  5. Put a check beside Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, and then click Clear now: 

Firefox:

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Click the menu button = > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data...:
  3. Next, put a check beside Cookies and other site data and Cached web content, and then click Clear:
