Classifications
Classifications are used to categorize Action Items within the ACT module. They can be configured only at the Company Level and help organize action items by type, such as Preventive, Corrective, or Continuous Improvement.
Key Features
Scope
- Classifications can be configured only at the Company Level.
- Company-level classifications are available across all divisions.
Active Date Range
- Each classification has an Active Date and an Inactive Date that control when it is available for use.
- Classifications outside their active date range will no longer appear as options when creating action items.
Allow MOC Closing
- When enabled, any MOC Action Item with this classification will not prevent its parent MOC from being closed out if the action item is not yet completed.
- Leave this unchecked if incomplete action items of this type should block MOC close-out.
Active Status
- Classifications can be marked as Active or Inactive using the Active checkbox.
